RUSTIC HOLLOW 3-SIDED WOOD BEAMS

Frontier Beams
For Any Ceiling

Hand-hewn hollow 3-sided beams for interior or exterior — frontier-distressed, pre-age-stained, and ready to install when they hit your site.
BUILT FOR INTERIOR & EXTERIOR

Hollow Beams With the Weight of a Real Log

Pioneer beams are built as 3-sided hollow assemblies — hand-hewn and frontier-distressed on every visible face, then glued and clamped into a single beam in our shop. They read as solid square logs from any angle, but install like a wrap.

The hollow design lets your crew run them over existing structure, plumbing, or wiring without re-engineering the ceiling. The look is real square-log; the install is straightforward.

Standard length is 16 feet. For longer runs, butt end-to-end and jacket the splice with a thin metal decorative sleeve. Longer lengths are available by special request.

BUILT BY HAND

Glued, Clamped,
Pre-Stained

Every beam moves through the same craft as our siding. Faces are hand-hewn one at a time, then the three sides are glued, clamped, and left to cure into a single rigid assembly.

From there, each beam gets our two-step pre-age-stain on sawhorses — never sprayed — so the finish matches the rest of the build. When the freight arrives, your beams are ready to mount.

For the big stuff — like the four 20×20-inch monsters Richard built that stand 25 feet high on rock pedestals — the process is the same. Just bigger sawhorses.
